The Fashion Careers Clinic at The Creative Careers Festival

The Fashion Careers Clinic is excited to be part of The Creative Careers Festival in Birmingham! This event will be held on the 28th and 29th January and is a FREE festival for young people, teachers and parents that explores careers in the creative industries

The organisers explain:
"The Creative Careers Festival, brought to you by Bright Space in association with mac, is a two day event for 13-18 year olds. It’s the only careers event in Birmingham specifically highlighting careers in the creative industries. Planned and designed by young people, it will showcase a variety of creative careers and the routes into them in a fun and innovative way.

The Bright Space Creative Careers Festival will offer workshops, demonstrations, seminars, mentoring and networking opportunities, entertainment, exciting industry speakers and lots more.

You’ll also leave the Festival with some clear next steps to pursue your creative future. It’s the only event in Birmingham exclusively highlighting creative careers – under one roof!

The Fashion Careers Clinic will be delivering practical workshops and talks on how to enter the industry, careers available in fashion, how to find fashion work experience, and how to start a portfolio. These workshops will be delivered by Steph Finnan on the 28th, while Madeleine Ostlie (our styling guru) will be holding styling workshops on the 29th.
