Gold or a Rose Gold Watch??

Sunday, February 20, 2011
I have been wanting to buy a Gold/Rose Gold watch for over a year now but I never seem to actually make that purchase even though I've tried on a million within that time period. So yesterday whilst shopping at Westfield I decided to finally just get the damn watch but the problem I was then faced with was what watch to buy from a selection of 5 and what colour. My sales assistant was a guy who was very patient with me whilst I tried on the same watches over and over again lol.

I really wanted to buy this Michael Kors Rose Gold watch but felt it didn't really look that great on my complexion and the fact that i'll probably only wear it for a little while and get bored of it. However I am now having second thoughts....

I ended up buying this Michael Kors Gold watch  but I didn't have the links taken off as I am still undecided if I want to go back for the Rose Gold or a different gold watch by another brand I've been lusting after for agggggeeesss too!!

Now you can see why despite the fact that I've wanted to buy a watch for over a year I haven't been able to make a decision with my indecisiveness *Shaking my head*.

Interior Style: Jewellery Storage

Hi!  I've not done many posts this week as been working late everyday and catching up with London Fashion Week.  Here is my current jewellery storage and sort of collection too!  I also had a massive clearout of all my old jewellery and threw away quite a lot, can't believe how much junk i kept!  My current storage drawers and jewellery boxes have been the same for a long time, so I'm on the look out for some new storage, I'd really love some mirrored drawers or something similar!   Most of my collection is stored in Muji acrylic drawers and boxes, love their storage stuff, extremely good quality and long lasting, I already have my make-up in similar drawers here.  One is kept on my dressing table, the other Muji storage with rest of my jewellery and bangles is stored away inside a storage unit in my bedroom.  This isn't my whole collection as didn't want to show all my really expensive fine jewellery on here!  I also own alot of asian jewellery but there's just too much for one post lol!

Muji sell these 2 drawer stackable drawers in various sizes, the jewellery insert can be bought separately, this is on my dressing table where I store my rings and jewellery I wear most often.

My rings, silver necklace with my name written in arabic, well, it is an arabic name!  Diamond heart necklace and ring and House of Harlow ring.

More rings mostly from Topshop and a few bracelets

Muji acrylic storage box with dividers hold most of my bangles, bracelets and cuffs, it also comes with a sliding lid but didn't fit with all my bangles in it.

These Muji 5 drawer slim drawers are no longer available as I've had them for about 8 years, maybe more, wow time flies! they still look as good as new!

My most worn necklace, my favourites are the chain and cameo style ones, I know you can't really see the styles but didn't want to take endless pictues of each piece!
Earrings which I haven't worn in a long time, I've actually stopped wearing them as they just irritate me, even real gold or silver ones, therefore not bought any in ages

My more expensive jewellery is kept in their original boxes, the House of Harlow necklace which you've already seen as only bought it recently and my Vivienne Westwood necklace

This red and pink fabric jewellery box was from The Pier which is no longer trading, I keep all my extra jewellery here which I don't really wear.

This gorgeous antique ethnic style jewellery box is from Camden market, there's nothing in at the moment lol! Just looks nice on display!

How do you store your jewellery?

Thanks for your lovely comments! xxx

Tutorial: Updated Everyday Look

This look I usually wear for work or pretty much everyday, its simple and easy and its mostly bronze colors which can look really nice for summer too. Because I love shimmer eyeshadows most of the colors I use contains shimmers, you can use matte shades if you want.

Finish Look:

and random cam whoring :] Hat from Usagi Go Go! Site

What I use:

1) Urban Decay Primer Potion
2) Cargo Blush
3) Wet n' Wild single eyeshadow in "Brulee"
4) Coastal Scents gel eyeliner in "Truffle"
5) Koji eyelash curler
6) L'oreal Telescopic Expansion mascara
7) Lola single eyeshadow, this is a hard to find eyeshadow, any bronze color eyeshadow will work
8) Nars Eyeshadow duo in "Surabaya"

Tutorial:

Step 1
Apply eyeshadow primer all over the lid, this will help the eyeshadow last longer without creasing or fading

Step 2
Apply a light bronze eyeshadow all over the lid

Step 3
With a crease brush define the crease with a darker brown shade

Step 4
Since this is a everyday look I don't like using eyeliner on my lower line because it can look too harsh (unless if its a look for nighttime) so instead I use the same dark brown eyeshadow and apply them with a slanted eyeliner brush.

Step 5
Apply a brown gel eyeliner on the top lid only to make the look more simple

Step 6
Curl lashes and apply mascara

I typically don't wear lipsticks or lipgloss when I'm at work, instead I like wearing tinted lip balms which gives moisture and a hint of color on my lips. Using C.O. Bigelow (Bath & Body Works) Tinted lip balm in "Poppy Pink".

and finish!

Thanks for reading! :]

Disclaimer: I purchase all the makeup items. The hat was given to me by the owner of Usagi Go Go! my bf lol
